You have to hate it a few times before you can like it.

It took me 3 months of doing yoga 3 times a week to begin to like it. I didn’t know I would like it and I didn’t know it was possible. I kept doing it because it was the right thing to do for my body but didn’t expect to fall in love with it.

Today was my 5th day doing Robin Arzon’s low impact class and it finally clicked. The cadence she suggested was correct. The resistance was more than I wanted but just what I needed. Then in a movement I was at one with the pedals and the resistance kissing the 45lbs spinning plate.

It takes a few times of not liking something to fall in love with it (sometimes). Its unfair to ourselves to decide to do things on a basis of what we like and what we don’t. That’s how I have been choosing things that I do and don’t for now anyhow.

Hello, Besties

Hello World,

Hi, it's José from The Tonsorialist. Welcome to our inaugural newsletter.

I will be reaching out to you once a month with store updates and thought I think hold value to you.

As we get back to work and the world finally seems too be somewhat normal I hope you will carry all your lessons learned during the Quarantine.

For me, the thing I learned the most was to re-lax

As barbers and hairstylists we seem to always be getting that one extra client in the chair and pretty soon we are overworked.

AND NOW FOR THE FUN STUFF

We have 3 new capes coming up. A new collection.

We have summer colors to match the mood and this renewed sense of possibilities.
